The olive gardens, the hard rock of the Alpilles and the vestiges of ancient civilizations... Saint Rémy de Provence symbolizes, for poets and painters alike, the peace and the light so typically Provencal. Nostradamus, native of the village, saw in its azure sky the destinies of the Great.Principal of the Greco roman ruins, Glanum, with its legends, takes you back in time. Every Whit Monday, to the astonishment of the children, thousands of sheep, with their shepherds, make their way through the little streets. This movement to summer pastures marks the awakening of Provence
